Paso Robles Wine Dinner with Justin & Booker

Thursday, October 13, 2022 | 6:00pm
$250 (exclusive of tax and gratuity)

Please join us for our first wine series dinner with special guests Justin Baldwin, owner of Justin Winery, and Eric Jensen, founder and winemaker of Booker Winery. October is harvest month and is the busiest month for wineries and winemakers so to have these two guests come down at this time is very special. What’s even more unique is to have both dine and present alongside each other, something that is not common for wine pairing dinners. We will also be including guests from local Paso Robles farms such as Central Coast Creamery. Chef Jarell’s “Fall Harvest” inspired creative multi-course dinner along with the many flavors of some of the best wines to come out of Paso Robles will be a night to remember. Expect to taste older vintages and wines that are only available at the winery and through membership. This is not your typical three-course wine dinner with just a few different wines. We will be offering double the courses and a total of 8 wines!

Paso Robles is known for their diurnal shifts, calcareous soil and most importantly Family owned and operated.

BOOKER Founder & Farmer Eric Jensen

After a career in the music business, Eric and Lisa Jensen purchased 100 acres of land in West Paso in 2001 with the intent of growing the best fruit for some of the best wineries in the area.  After making wine with Justin Smith (of Saxum) for five years and Stephan Asseo (of L’Aventure Wines) for two years, the Jensens decided it was time to create their own expression with Booker Vineyard. The 2005 Vintage was Booker Vineyard’s first release with the wines being made by owner Eric Jensen.

Justin Vineyards Owner Justin Baldwin

Former investment and international banker, Justin Baldwin, founded JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery in 1981 when he purchased 160 acres west of Paso Robles on California’s Central Coast and planted his estate vineyards.

Since its inception, Justin has focused his efforts on producing world class Bordeaux style blends from the estate. He is one of the earliest producers of that style in the New World. His efforts have been rewarded with past and present vintages earning 90+ points by the major wine trade publications.  More encompassing recognition has come from awards such as Grand Sweepstakes award winner, Best of Class, Best of Region, the coveted Pichon Lalande trophy for “World’s Best Blended Red Wine” and Wine Spectators Top 10 Wines of the World.
